Read Full ArticleAssa Abloy, the access solutions firm which owns Yale along with others, has acquired Senior Architectural Systems, a supplier of aluminium windows, doors and curtain wall systems.
"I am very pleased to welcome SAS to Assa Abloy. This acquisition delivers on our strategy to add complementary products and solutions to our core business,” says Nico Delvaux, the president and CEO of Assa Abloy.
“SAS is an exciting addition to our UK business,” says Neil Vann, the executive vice president of Assa Abloy and head of its EMEIA division. “SAS offers a high-quality range of window and door profile systems including thermally efficient technology. Their portfolio will further extend the Assa Abloy offering in the commercial OEM market in the UK.”
History
SAS was established in 1991 and has some 150 employees. The main office and factory are located in Yorkshire. Sales for 2024 £50 million with a strong EBIT margin.
Assa Abloy operates worldwide with 63,000 employees.
